SARGENT Signature Series SARGENT Signature Series is a key control system that gives building owners total control of facility key access, including keying, key cutting and duplicating, and ordering the inventory. Proprietary & Restricted Patent-Protected Systems Each Signature pattern is restricted for a single user. A Signature pattern is defined by the dimple millings on the key in combination with a SARGENT keyway. Dimpled blanks are available only from the factory, inhibiting unauthorized key duplication. Hundreds of thousands of Signature patterns are available. Signature keys and cylinders are patent protected Signature cylinders feature blocking bars that resist picking and prevent standard keys from working Optional UL 437 listed cylinders (mortise and rim only), except removable core Signature cylinders and conventional SARGENT cylinders can be integrated into the same master key system, and can be keyed alike. The Signature keys will operate both types of cylinders, but the conventional cylinder keys will not operate the Signature cylinders. Can be retrofitted into SARGENT products and most commercially available brands of mortise locks and exit devices Available in standard and removable core cylinders Field Serviceable Owners can cut keys on a standard key machine and pin cylinders as they would a standard cylinder Factory masterkeying and construction masterkeying are available. Lost ball construction method only. Two separate, mutually exclusive Signature patterns are assigned with every Signature system (except V & C keyways). Should a top level key be lost or stolen, it is unnecessary to rekey the entire system. By simply reversing the blocking bars in the Signature cylinders and cutting pre-assigned, alternate key blanks, a new system is established, voiding the old Signature keys. Signature Offset Blocking Bars. Locks out all but a correctly dimpled and bitted key. Signature Offset Blocking Bar Springs. Two per offset blocking bar. Supplies required spring force to prevent compromise of offset blocking bars by anything other than a correctly dimpled and bitted key.
