- Prefix 54 - Signal switch in trim.
Electrified 80 & 12-80 Series
- Prefix 12 - UL listed for fire exit hardware
- Prefix 55 - Signal switch in rail. Signal switch monitors the touch bar. Touch bar monitoring may be used to detect egress. The switch option is UL listed for panic and fire. Used to signal a remote location when rail is depressed, authorized egress, door control or door status systems.
- Prefix 56 - Remote dogging/latch retraction. Exit device may be locked or unlocked from a remote location while simultaneously dogging (unlocking) or undogging (locking) the push rail (.45 amp operating current).
- Prefix 57 - Delayed egress with magnet (ordered separately). Sounds a horn at the door indicating a violation is about to occur. Once actuated, the 80 Series exit will signal the electromagnetic lock, keeping the door closed for 15 seconds. This time delay allows time to respond to a pending violation.
- Prefix 58 - Electric dogging. When the exit device is energized and the push rail is depressed, the push rail is held down and the latchbolt will be in an unlocked position. When power is interrupted, the rail releases and the latchbolt will extend (.20 amp operating current).
- Prefix AL - Alarmed exit – 9V battery operated. Designed for areas requiring a stand-alone alarm on outward swinging doors. Alarm inside the rails sounds immediately upon exit. Ideal for rear exterior doors or doors leading
to a rooftop, or anywhere security is a concern.
Alarmed Exit Hardware
- 540/550 Series - stand alone exit alarm
- 5100 Series - UL listed for exit lock (push paddle device)
