Model 8837 Door Holder Model 8837 electromagnetic door holders operate with self-closing fire and smoke barrier doors. This fail safe unit releases the door from a hold open position upon the interruption of current from the action of a smoke detection system or a manual switch. The door holders can be used in high security applications for timed or manual releasing of one or all doors from a central security point.
