Specifications
Doors shall be 607 type as manufactured by CURRIES of Mason City, Iowa. Doors shall be manufactured of the finest quality 20 or 18 gauge (specify) cold-rolled steel. All doors shall be full flush construction and 1 3/4" (44) thick.
Doors shall be reinforced, stiffened, and insulated with a polystyrene slab core permanently bonded to the inside of each face skin. The lock edge of the door shall be 16 gauge channel the full height of the door. The hinge edge of the door shall be 14 gauge channel the full height of the door. The hinge and lock edge channels are welded to the face skins. The door edges are square, featuring a non-handed design. The hinge and lock edge of the door have an exposed hairline seam, centered, extending the full height of the door.
The top and bottom of the doors are closed with 18 gauge channels welded to the face skins. Hardware reinforcements shall meet or exceed minimum standard criteria set forth in ANSI A250.8. Doors shall pass criteria of ANSI A250.4 Level A door performance criteria.
